Through out the school year we administer written or drawing reinforcements which allows the students to repeatedly build upon information. We synchronize group or take home projects for math and science chosen specifically to coincide with our fitness program. Each student is provided a grade specific Exercise Science Syllabus with vocabulary, reinforcements and lesson plans that support the State requirements. Each reinforcement, test and assignment are recorded to help track the students academic progress as it applies to the overall grade for Physical Education and Health Education.
The “Flash Card” teaching tool is color coded to the building blocks and provides students a visual relationship to the program. Being able to see what the movement looks like, which building block it is working with and then mimicking the movement provides proprioceptive learning at an early age. Students at the age of 4 will understand basic health information that will have a positive affect on the rest of their lives.
